It’s the end of a journey and the start of a new It’s the end of a journey and the start of a new adventure for the year six pupils at Avening Primary School 🌟 FOAS were delighted to fund the leavers hoodies - wear them with pride! 👏🥳 We wish you all the very best in your future endeavours and we’ve loved being a part of the journey. Of course, all alumni are more than welcome to future Bear Hunts and Avening events alike. We’d love to see you! ☀️ Have a fabulous summer ☀️
It’s the final Cookies & Donuts of the school ye It’s the final Cookies & Donuts of the school year today! ☀️ To celebrate, we’ll be handing out free ice lollies to pupils this afternoon 😎🌟 Thank you so much to everyone who has bought from us this year, from multicoloured cookies and ghost cupcakes, to pancake stacks and caterpillar biscuits… it’s been fun! Together you’ve helped raise over £1000 for Avening school this year, which is absolutely brilliant 👏 A large portion of this has been Astrid’s delicious sourdough loaves and buns, so a huge thank you Astrid for all your bakes👩‍🍳 If you’ve not tried them yet, look out for them next year! 🍞🥖 See you at 2.30 in the playground ☀️

Avening Primary School Sports Morning 🌟 Well d Avening Primary School Sports Morning 🌟 Well done to all the children who put in such super effort at this morning’s sports day. It was lovely to see lots of smiling faces and hear you all cheer for each one another. Thank you to the staff and volunteers for making it run so smoothly as always, and for giving the children such a fun morning. We’re pleased to report that the FOAS refreshments tent has raised over £120 for the school, so thank you very much to you all the spectators! Huge thank you to Noreen, Claire, Joe and James for sorting supplies and running the stall - we really appreciate your efforts 🌟 Thank you also to Kin House and Coffee & Bee for your kind donations. Your support has been fabulous. @coffeeandbee.events @kinhousewiltshire Finally, congratulations to team Saturn for winning the house prize! 🏆 …and also to Mars for winning the parents race! 👏🥇

You can buy multiple keyrings too! ORDER IN THREE EASY STEPS 1. Pick your colour 2. Pick your font 3. Write the text you would like Order online using the link in our bio. The personalised text is limited to 15 characters, and bricks are printed on one side only.  Each keyring uses a genuine 2×4 LEGO® brick - a great way to personalise school bags, keys, pencil cases… or to give as a gift. Orders will be delivered to FOAS to distribute at school.
We’re incredibly grateful and proud of the fanta We’re incredibly grateful and proud of the fantastic support we received for this year’s bear hunt. From selling out of maps half way through (thank you for everyone’s patience whilst we printed more!) and selling out of ice cream (twice!!) to welcoming visitors from as far as Oxfordshire and hearing everyone’s lovely feedback, it was yet another wonderful afternoon full of creativity, adventure and fun. An enormous thank you to Moon, Tom and their family for hosting the BearBQ and keeping all of the hunters well fed. You all worked tirelessly serving delicious hot dogs, courtesy of Hobbs House Bakery and the Champion Sausage Company 🌭 @hobbshousebakerytetbury Thank you to Tim and Astrid for serving a mountain of ice creams in the playing field! 🍦 …and thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who served hot drinks and cakes, helped run the BBQ, sold maps, ran the craft stalls and hosted bears. We couldn’t do it without you! Another huge thank you to our amazing bear sponsors. The sponsorship from local businesses has been incredible once again, and we really appreciate your support for our school. Finally, thank you to everyone who joined us on the day and enjoyed the hunt. It was so lovely to see so many families having fun. We’re very pleased to report that this year’s bear hunt has raised a fantastic £1737, which is totally pawsome! 🐾 Everyone please give yourselves a giant bear-sized pat on the back!! 🐻👏🌟

Made in Stroud was started by Clare Honeyfield as Made in Stroud was started by Clare Honeyfield as a series of makers’ markets in town in 1991. In 1999 Clare founded Stroud Farmers’ Market , initially known as The Made in Stroud Farmers Market @made_in_stroud_shop Clare started The Made in Stroud Shop in 2000 as a result of the joint need for her own office and to provide a place for local makers to sell their wares. Originally a co-operative, the sole aim of the shop is to create community through beautiful hand made objects. They work with 190 makers and producers from the Five Valleys and further afield. Thank you so much to the lovely Clare for your generous hamper donation for our “Best Bear in Show” prize! What a lucky winner!!

We’ve had some very busy bakers preparing for to We’ve had some very busy bakers preparing for tomorrow’s bear hunt. Freya has made some wonderful bear cakes, all totally by herself. Well done and thank you Freya! 🌟 Enjoy these and many other homemade treats along with a cuppa in the Memorial Hall from 12pm.
